Ukrainian dark / death-doom metal formation Tectum released for fans of very heavy music new studio single to show the level of the band at this moment. Tectum have released up to this point only a demo album, but had already given over almost two years 13 concerts, one of which was a performance at Metal Heads Mission-2010 with headliners like Cannibal Corpse and Hollenthon. The single "It's Alive!" (2011) – it’s a real dark metal, which you have been waiting for a long time. Recording, mixing and mastering of this single were made in December 2010 at Paradox Records Studio in Cherkasy, Ukraine. Technique, speed and aggression in the music and vocals, soulful guitar passages are complemented by some samples and meaningful lyrics, taken from the book "Frankenstein or the Modern Prometheus by Mary Shelley, writer of the nineteenth century, besides in original English. Lyrics transmits character of song and a monologue of a Frankenstein's Monster. Also, release of the single timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the most brilliant film of Frankenstein with the same name in 1931, directed by James Whale. This picture has become the undisputed masterpiece of world cinema and cult in the genre of horror and could not leave his mark in a single of Tectum. The material is highly recommended for listening to fans Ajattara, Rotting Christ, Moonspell, Septic Flesh. It's Alive!
